Preventing Heartburn

People having frequent heartburn are very rare and heartburn episodes are not very common. Some basic symptoms of heart burn which are normally very irritating are chest pain at night, sour taste in the mouth, coughing, sneezing, wheezing, hoarseness and sore throat. There are certain drinks and fruits that should be avoided for heartburn. They are raw onions, fatty acids, vinegar, spicy foods, black pepper, spearmint, citrus juice etc.

The best ways are avoid going to bed immediately after eating. One should have the habit of eating with concentration and mindfulness because that will avoid food contents from entering the esophagus.
